Season TicketsShow your support for the symphony and be our honored guest at every performance! For $75, you'll receive five adult admissions to our regular season performances -- a 22% discount. Each admission is transferable, so that you may bring in friends and guests on unused tickets. Season subscribers are also members of the Jacksonville Symphony Society and are considered valued patrons of the arts in our area.
Purchase season tickets online or by printing out our Season Brochure and mailing it with your check to Jacksonville Symphony Society, PO Box 32, Jacksonville IL 62651-0032. Or, just send us your name and address along with your check and we'll take care of you. Season tickets will be mailed out one week prior to the first performance of the season. |
Individual TicketsSingle performance tickets are available for each individual concert. Adult tickets are $20 each, while all children and college students are admitted free. All Jacksonville Symphony performances are general admission with no reserved seats.
Purchase tickets in three ways: 1. At the Door: Arrive a few minutes early and purchase your tickets at the door. Cash and checks accepted. Credit/debit cards coming soon. 2. County Market: Tickets are available two weeks prior to the event at Jacksonville County Market; go to the customer service counter inside the front entrance. 3. On Line: Click on the link below to purchase your ticket. Print out your receipt and exchange for a ticket at any concert. |

Concert - September 30, 2023
We open our 61st season with the return of acclaimed soprano Mathilda Edge, Grand Prize winner of our 2009 Talent Among Us competition and Illinois College alumnus. Winner of many competitions and an alumnus of the prestigious Ryan Opera Center at the Lyric Opera of Chicago, Mathilda will thrill us with a varied program of masterworks by Mozart, Wagner, Strauss, Puccini and Copland, sure to please the entire audience. Don’t miss this tour de force season opener!

We welcome virtuoso pianist Alla Voskoboynikova to our stage to thrill you with her total mastery of the keyboard. Former pianist of the Kiev Opera and Ballet, and now Chair of the Piano Department at the University of Missouri St. Louis, she has performed 3 times on the Illinois College Fine Arts Series, and we are now excited to present her with your JSO in the sparkling and light-hearted Piano Concerto No. 2 by Shostakovich.
