​We open our 61st season with the return of acclaimed soprano Mathilda Edge, Grand Prize winner of our 2009 Talent Among Us competition and Illinois College alumnus.  Winner of many competitions and an alumnus of the prestigious Ryan Opera Center at the Lyric Opera of Chicago, Mathilda will thrill us with a varied program of masterworks by Mozart, Wagner, Strauss, Puccini and Copland, sure to please the entire audience.  Don’t miss this tour de force season opener!
